Registered Nurse, Master's student in Social Sciences
I am a 27-year-old young woman who has lived almost her entire life in Leppävaara, Espoo. In this area, I completed my school journey from preschool to ninth grade, spent time at the local youth center as a child, learned to swim at the Leppävaara swimming hall, and studied for my matriculation exams at the Sello library. When I briefly lived elsewhere in Finland, I knew that upon returning, I definitely wanted to move back to Leppävaara.
I am an older sister and a scout, used to taking on challenges and finding solutions to them. The spark to run for office right now was ignited by two things: my deep love for my hometown, Espoo, and my concern for the current state and future of the social and healthcare sector. My campaign themes—"Well-being belongs to everyone," "A caring Espoo," and "Community is a strength"—reflect my goals of improving services, creating a more humane working life, and strengthening the sense of community.
The values most important to me in life are equality, community, justice, friendship, and expertise. I have strived to live by these values both in my personal and professional life. These are also the values I want to bring into politics.
